Passera is laughing at us

Yesterday, during an interview, the italian Minister of Economic Development Corrado Passera has said some things that make me seriously think that our government is deeply convinced of the ineptitude of the majority of the population. If not, no one would have dared to fool us with words like those I heard him say. The indicted are the following two: that the government has proceeded to stimulate growth through liberalization (!) and that he is proud of its past as a banker, because among other things Italian banks during the crisis have not stopped the credit. Now, everything is fine, but here it is nearly ridiculous. I have already spoken on liberalizations in the past, basically they haven't liberalized anything, the country is slave of Federfarma and all the other lobbies that, more or less large and more or less with reason keep us grounded without growth. Nothing on notaries, taxi licenses, on petrol, nothing about anything. With the usual account, that they want us to become a country like the United States pretending to forget the factors that have made great their economy and remembering only the ones that make them rather often a social butcheryOn the second point, however, there would indeed be even more laughs. The writer, fortunately or unfortunately, has a degree in Economics and Banking. I heard every single professor of my courses on the subject, saying that the banks do not grant credit as the did before. I heard personally the responsible for the credit of the largest Italian investment bank telling us that today is not like years ago, that things have changed. Leaving aside the reasons for which this happens, why to make such a claim? If you want to play on the words, you can say that until it is given even a little of credit it is not zero. But should it be the case to play with words? Also tragically, these days his words are blatantly falsified (see cases of suicide among entrepreneurs). There are difficulties for the financial system and for all, anyone has thought that the banks are charities, however they have certainly a more critical role in the crisis of all us and, despite this, are protected and have unparalleled influence the country's economy. They sure make their interests and their interest is in extending credit to earn, this is a complex discourse to deal with. I'm just wondering why you can push a person who definitely knows these things better than me to say such a thing ...
